She completed her Bachelor of Science in
Molecular Biology with Honours at Murdoch
University, Murdoch, Western Australia in 2007.
Current Thesis: Androgen Regulation of Breast
Cancer Cell Proliferation: Role of the
INK4 Inhibitors. She also completed her Bachelor
of Science in Biomedical Science and
Molecular Biology at Murdoch University in 2006.
Rachel has previously worked at the University of Western Australia as a Laboratory Demonstrator and has also completed an Independent Study Contract (I.S.C) at the State Aricultural Biotechnology Centre where she investigated phytoplasma-associated disease in native plants species of Kings Park and Botanic Gardens, Perth.
Her research interests include cell biology and cancer, regulation of the cell cycle and drug discovery.
